Expert Witness – Patents

We have been retained as an expert witness in several patent matters in the District Courts. Additionally, we have been retained to prepare filings with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). We have been retained by counsel for petitioners and patent owners.

Our work in District Court patent litigation has included preparation of expert reports, sitting for depositions, testifying at trials, assisting counsel with preparation for Markman hearings, assisting counsel with discovery, and assisting counsel in preparation for depositions of fact witnesses and experts retained by opposing counsel. This work has centered on software and e-commerce for enterprise-wide systems and vertical markets, including mobile technologies.

• We were retained by counsel for the defendant, one of the world’s largest financial institutions, in a case relating to consumer financial services and back-office processing systems.
• We were retained by counsel for the plaintiff, a software company focused on the financial services industry.
• We were retained by counsel for the defendant, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, in a case relating to back-office processing systems and related technologies.
• We were retained by counsel for the petitioner, a consortium of financial services providers, to prepare a Declaration related to prior art in a filing before the PTAB.
