Patents

We have been retained as an expert witness in several patent matters in the District Courts. Additionally, we have been retained to prepare filings with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Our work has comprised analyzing prior art and file histories, filing declarations, sitting for depositions, and testifying at trials. We have been retained by counsel for petitioners and patent owners; Dr. Kursh has authored declarations in IPR, PGR, and CBM matters.

Our work in District Court patent litigation has included preparation of expert reports, sitting for depositions, testifying at trials, assisting counsel with preparation for Markman hearings, assisting counsel with discovery, and assisting counsel in preparation for depositions of fact witnesses and experts retained by opposing counsel. This work has centered on software and e-commerce for enterprise-wide systems and vertical markets, including mobile technologies.
